Led by Zeppelin One Off Re-Union Show

Saturday December 10th 2011, the Venue is Homelands Function suite (Ashford United FC).

The line up will be Paul Lawrence, Iain Cobby,  with special guests Marc Eden and our good friend Simon Jeffery on drums. 

For one night only, Ashford Rocks! presents Led by Zeppelin in a re-union show. Led By Zeppelin previously had many years of successful South East UK theatre shows including venues such as the Leas Cliff Hall, The Hazlitt Theatre and The Mick Jagger centre, as well as being the chosen tribute act to perform on Kerrang! Radio during the night of Led Zep's 2007 reunion.

The bands line up is as follows:

Marc Eden - Vocals; A fant...astic rock vocalist who bears a good resemblance to a young Robert Plant and has played the likes of the Isle of Wight and Glastonbury festivals in several other bands. His biggest claim to fame, however, came just a while back when he had a call from a management company to audition for Slash (ex Guns 'n' Roses) who was looking for a singer for his yet to be named Velvet Revolver project. Marc spent several weeks with Slash, Duff, Matt and Dave, and was described by Slash as "one of the greatest rock 'n' roll singers I have ever heard".
Marc will soon be touring the USA with his newly signed act Men and Gods.

Paul Lawrence - Guitars; One of the founder members, Paul is a Jimmy Page fanatic who prides himself on the bands authenticity and live approach. He plays a Jimmy Page signature Les Paul, as well as a Danelectro and SG Double Neck...you can also bet your life that a violin bow will be involved! Paul is also the guitarist in Know Your Enemy and has also recently replaced Tik Brown in local legends Scandal.

Iain Paul Cobby - Bass and Keyboards; Mr Dependable himself, Iain has taken on the John Paul Jones role with ease. Whether it's a keyboard role, bass or mandolin, there isn't one part of the John Paul Jones role that Iain hasn't mastered.

Simon Jeffrey - Drums; Simon achieved great success during his ten year stint with Letz Zep. A phenomenal drummer, he is most happy when he is behind his John Bonham Ludwig Vistalite drumkit. He is a very much in demand drummer who has also played with the likes of Bernie Torme (Ozzy Osbourne, Gillan) in the past...His bare hands playing of 'Moby Dick' cannot be bettered.
