Led by Zeppelin
Led By Zeppelin are
the UK's premier and most authentic Led Zeppelin tribute band, and
are based in Kent. Since the year 2000, Led By Zeppelin have been
giving a fantastic tribute to the music of the great Led Zeppelin.
The band prides themselves around being authentic in dress, looks
and sound, and many of the tracks you will hear are based around
Zeppelin live versions as well as studio versions. The band can
offer a set that ranges up to 3 hours, and includes the whole
spectrum of Led Zeppelin’s greatest music…from the heavy rockers
such as Whole Lotta Love, to classics such as Kashmir, and Stairway
to Heaven….from the folky acoustic numbers as Going to California
and Tangerine, to numbers rarely performed live by Led Zeppelin such
as 'Wanton Song' and 'Out On The Tiles' there is more than enough to
please every die hard Zeppelin fan.
Shows have seen the
band travel across the UK and included several small tours of the
South West of England that were a huge success. The band has also
played to several packed crowds at Kent's prestigious Leas Cliff
Hall venue in Folkestone, and will be looking to return to the venue
in the future. Discussions are also currently taking place with
regards to gigs in Scotland, and as far away as Malta and India.
WHAT THEY ARE SAYING....
3 notes into Kashmir the look
on peoples faces was indescribable... I heard one of Kerrang!
Roadies say "Kashmir?...no tribute band ever does Kashmir...it's
too hard!" You would never have guessed it...note perfect...and
'Robert Plant's' vocals soared with such strength that Plant
himself would be proud...and probably a little jealous!
Kerrang Radio
I have always thought that
if a band is good enough to play the songs of a legendary
band, they
should just play something
original...forget that! If I could master the tracks of
Zeppelin in the way
Led-By-Zeppelin have I'd
never want to do anything else other than play them to the
world.
Simply awesome. - Kerrang Radio
"Marc, you have got
a great voice, let's just remind ourselves of the original so we can
just hear how authentic that was" Nicky Campbell, Radio 5 Live & TV Presenter.
"These guys are an
amazing tribute band to the Zep, and Marc Eden vocally is the real
deal." Luther Grosvenor/Ariel Bender - Ex Mott The Hoople guitarist,
Ariel Bender Band
"It is the
first time I have seen a tribute band and I have enjoyed it. I will
come and see them again" Peter Grants Daughter In Law, Caroline
"Hi Paul I cant tell you how happy I am that you are having a
tribute to John - If only everyone would! I wish you all the love
and best in the world xx" Deborah Bonham
"I saw Zeppelin twice in the 1970s and this band manages a great
re-creation of the look and sound. It is especially good to hear
some of the less well-known songs again. It was a fantastic
evening." Damian Green, Conservative MP
"Led By Zeppelin knew what they were doing.. I could easily have
been listening to the real thing, it was THAT accurate.... they were
excellent, faithfully recreating the Led Zeppelin magic....
definitely worth a watch...." Folkestone Herald
“It's not often you get a Led Zep tribute band with all of the
necessary attributes - superb musicianship, accurate looks and stage
presence.. I really felt like I was back at Earls Court in 1975"
Steve, Kent Music Promoter
“I was blown away by the Led by Zeppelin gig last night! Seen the
band a few times now and they just get better every time. Good mix
of all the favourites plus some new lesser known album tracks which
really impressed - how these guys manage to nail every feature of
these songs, not to mention all the instrumentation,
guitar/amp/effects settings etc, continually amazes me!"
Alex, Canterbury.
Well Saturday was
not the first time we have seen you, and your not the only Zep
tribute we have seen, but the forth. "IV". But you are by far the
best and most authentic, and I've seen Zep three times. Cant Wait
For Your Next Gig.
Danny And Kate, London
Not
the first Zep tribute we've seen, but certainly the most authentic.
Then last night, heard your Kerrang! radio broadcast which was
awesome fabulous sound production and loved the appreciative
audience! I was gutted not to have been at the O2 but you pretty
much made up for it. Keep rocking!.
